Why she started Creative by Cristina

Cristina J. Bazaldúa seated, Founder & Principal of Creative by Cristina

Throughout her career, Cristina has partnered with nonprofits, educational institutions, government agencies, businesses, and community organizations committed to making a difference. Time and again, she witnessed mission-driven organizations doing extraordinary work without the communications strategy, visibility, or support needed to fully tell their story and amplify their impact.

Creative by Cristina was founded to help close that gap by providing boutique, senior-level communications and community engagement expertise to nonprofits, small businesses, minority and women-owned enterprises, schools, municipalities, and community coalitions. The work is personal, the relationships are long-term, and every project is rooted in the communities it serves.

As a bilingual communicator and lifelong advocate for community empowerment, Cristina specializes in helping organizations build authentic connections with Hispanic and multicultural audiences while ensuring every voice is represented, valued, and heard.

  1. 01

    Relationships Matter

Communications is not just about messaging—it's about building trust.

  2. 02

    Strategy Before Tactics

Every campaign, event, post, or press release should support a larger organizational goal.

  3. 03

    Community Is the Message

The strongest brands are those that genuinely engage and serve their communities.

  4. 04

    Culture Matters

Effective communications reflect the values, traditions, and experiences of the people they seek to reach.

  5. 05
